Oh, so I'm not allowed to have an AR-15 because someone else used one in a mass shooting?
Stupidest arguement ever.
Guess we gotta ban motorized vehicles now because more people die from them than guns, and that's not counting when they have been used to drive into groups of pedestrians or used as bombs.
Guess we gotta ban planes now since they were used in an act of terror.
Obesity kills a ton of people- ban it!
Smoking kills a ton of people- ban it!
And if the bad guy is using an AR-15, whether he obtained it legally or otherwise, why can't I use one to stop him/her from killing me or anyone I love? That's akin to taking the horns from a gazelle so it can't defend itself from a predator.

Here's the facts:
Chicago has very restrictive gun laws, yet the number of crimes commited in that city with a gun is through the roof. All restrictive gun laws do is disarm law abiding people and put incredible strain on the local law enforcement who have to respond to a break-in and arrive too late to save the victim.
There's a saying, "An armed society is a polite society." Knowledge that someone is armed is a big deterent to crime because criminals don't want to get shot either.

Exactly. Fully automatic weapons have been banned. Criminals still get a hold of them. Bump stocks don't make a weapons fully automatic, they just allow someone to pull the trigger faster. What makes a weapon fully auto is the weapon's sear is designed to allow multiple shots per trigger pull. The AR-15 (which stands for Armalite Rifle model 15) does not have a sear designed for fully automatic fire.

Bottom line: you do NOT have the right to tell me how and with what to defend myself and my loved ones with. It is an inherit human right that I will fight for and die to defend.
