My favorite is when they say I only want a gun because I'm scared.

Im a liberal and I have to agree that some other liberals think that these things are true.

Ironic.

As one of those liberals you demonize, I'd be pretty stupid to be afraid of ANY of those things,since I AM an old Southerner,who happens to be a REAL Christian(by which I mean I actually follow ALL 10 Holy Commandments,& try to follow the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth!) I am not afraid of the GOP, conservatives, or meat eaters- I pity them. They fail to see that damage that they do to the planet,the people,& to ultimately, themselves,is irreversible. The meat they eat,the goose they cook,is their own.
If we didn't have to suffer right alongside of the paranoid conservatives who are their own worst enemy,liberals might find the situation amusing.

I'd have to say that everything you say goes for liberalism, actually.
