Be a real non-conformist...

Rebellion against who?

There are two answers to that question from a biblical Christian worldview.

One deals with what is seen, the other deals with what is unseen. From our previous interactions, I believe you to be a materialist with anti supernaturalism presuppositions. So I won't waste my time discussing the latter with you.

What I and other Christians are rebelling against which can be seen are the culture, people, and our own personal desires that promote, encourage, and long for the "rock-n-roll party lifestyle" that Alice Cooper once promoted and lived.

Growing up in a society and culture that idolizes people who live that lifestyle and puts them on a pedestal, being surrounded by people who either wanted to live that lifestyle (some of which only lived it vicariously through "rock stars") or thought it was reprehensible I believed that was the way to live to be a "nonconformist."

I realized years later that I was just being conformed to one of the many acceptable images/molds that society has for people and if I really wanted to be a rebel and a nonconformist I would have to be serious about living for Jesus Christ, serving him, and being open about it.

Actually, my beliefs stick to the sources, not the people telling me what to believe.

A bit off topic, but I see Generation Z as one of the most rebellious generations in a while. Gen Z doesn't conform with the political correctness of Gen Y, and Generation Z also has an exponentially growing amount of atheism.

I'm still not sure about how serving someone is a rebel...
