It helps that Doves and Hawks learn from each other.
As I admire their altruistic hearts of Doves they need to accept the reality that they cannot bring about a total end to war.
Only the return of the Lord Jesus Christ can accomplish that.
War, will always be a part of human existence, and sometimes, it's absolutely necessary. Indeed, the only way a criminal, a tyrant, and a terrorist understands (and for their evils to cease), is through the legal noose, boots-on-the-ground, and a 5,000ib/kg bomb.
So for now, be realistic; do what can be done, and when you reached the limit of your ability to give and fundraise, walk away. You've done your best.
Hawks, on the other hand, need to understand the heart of their political/ideological opposite. Yes, they have a grossly naive worldview, but one can never hope to win them to your side unless you know what they feel.
War is the most terrible of human undertaking that causes damage and suffering beyond our comprehension which can last for generations and can have world-wide consequences.
That's why wars should always be the last resort.
