The Voice of Reason

I remember seeing that whole exchange in comments. It was absurd. I think people get so caught up in their anger at the opposition they truly fail to see how childish these arguments become.

Certainly there is a balanced position many are failing to see because they have polarized. Hopefully people can be gently guided back to reason.

I feel the same way! I feel like I can recall a time when people were not bad about being at each other's throats. I believe the anonymity provided by the internet allows people to dehumanize one another and therefore rip into them with no conscience or remorse. It saddens me to see people resort to what appears to be genuine hatred.

Yet still many are respectful. The trolls and haters just happens to be more vocal. Unfortunately we have to develop a thick skin to attempt to discourse over the internet. I completely agree about the anonymity of the internet allowing people to feel safe to blast others. Yet at the same time it shows who they really are. Too many masks in this world. As bad as it is it may indeed allow for greater transformation in the end.
