Government did the same damned thing on my taxes year before last. My return turned out to be correct, they did their own "assessment", and I got more money ... than I got a bill several months later notifying me that they overpaid me and they wanted the money back right effin' now or I'd end up paying penalties and interest.
As for PayPal, I told them to get stuffed years ago. Will never use it again.
