That's good. At least they tried to be good to them before .... you know. *GULP*
And yeah, dogs definitely are good at saying thank you! I felt so bad for Tater at first. When I saw him in there he got off of his little bed and walked over so I could pet him, but if I turned away to look and see if a volunteer was coming to help me he tucked in his tail and went back to his bed. It made me happy to see him relax and get comfortable in my home with my family. I tell you though, it's hard walking past all those sad eyes in a shelter. I would adopt all of them if I could.
