Nah. Somehow, taking guns away from law-abiding citizens will magically make it more difficult for law-breakers to shoot people. Because the black market clearly doesn't exist, so background checks and waiting periods are going to keep everyone safe. Because there's nothing that stops people from breaking the law like more laws to break.
