Do you believe that animal cruelty is wrong? Is it justifiable to make choices that negatively affect the lives of sentient beings? If it's not good enough for your eyes, is it good enough for your stomach? If cows aren't sentient, why would cows bellow for up to 6 weeks for their baby after losing him or her? They have just as strong maternal instincts as human women do. In terms of abortion, I view it as questionable and arguably wrong but ultimately as somebody's personal choice. I could not do it myself, as it would deny somebody a life. Humans are allowed to make this choice for themselves. Cows and other animals, on the other hand, get no choice over what happens to them and their young and it is, therefore, arguably immoral to support these industries. I hope this has helped clear things up a bit. :)
