I never said that, but I did smoke for 15 years and finally quit so I could save money. They were up to $3.50 a pack when I quit. As a bonus I was living with a jackass who I had broke up with and was forced to still live with because I had no where to go and no way to get there. Talk about a challenge!

When my wife tried to quit the first time the kids asked me "How long is mum going to be like that?" Lol. It took a few tries over a few years but she did it (after 40 years of smoking). Good for you to quit under those trying circumstances.

Funny that all my wife's friends smoked and all my buddies didn't. Yeah they did the rollies too. We just liked to razz them when they said they'd quit when the price hit a certain point.

I probably would have quit if I hadn't bought the machine for rolling my own. In Phoenix the average was 6.00 a pack.
