7 planets... All tidally locked - too close to each other's orbits for stable orbit times - destructive gravitational interference with one another - no protective gas giants - all danger close to a star type known to be extremely volatile in it's youth meaning none of them are likely to have atmospheres... but, NASA made a big "We're Sill Relevant" stink about it and even referred to the planets as being "earth-like". Being in the habitable zone of a star of that type is like being on the very edge of the predicted kill radius of an exploding 40mm fragmentation grenade. Even if you survive, you are going to have a very bad time of it. That's where all 7 of those survivors, planets are. Back when Carl Sagan was plotting how to nuke the moon (if you don't know about that story, you should look into it), people were trying to understand more. Today, people are trying to sell the next tv program and tour schedule. It's almost like science is being dragged down to the level of pop psychology of the 70's. It doesn't matter that something has been proven to be error. Let's still run with it. The products are selling.
