My job has a password for everything, even the stupidest stuff. My voicemail has a six digit password in addition to the seven digit extension! I use the same password for silly accounts and I do have it on a post-it. Save the security for necessity, so it doesn't become like antibiotic resistant bacteria.

Agreed. A lot of things have passwords where there really is no need. I have MANY at my workplace, but I'm a higher level Admin. Depending on what type of company you're working for and your IT administrative levels, a lot of the extra security may truly not be needed. It can be very frustrating for the users of companies that overdo it.
