This is not really the site for adult content memes. If you're making them for friends and do not submit, no one but who you provide with the link, will see them.

1. Sorry, but I don't know. Maybe ask the mods?
2. By adult-based memes do you mean NSFW? If so, then as long as you mark it NSFW you should be fine. You might only get in trouble if you submit something inappropriate and don't mark it NSFW.
3. You can have friends on Imgflip, of course, but there are no friend lists.
4. You can't really search a "theme" but you can find memes related to the one you're viewing by clicking one of the tags. For example, if you're viewing a meme about dogs, by clicking the tag "dogs" (if there is one), Imgflip takes you to a page with all the memes that have been tagged with "dogs".
