Angry Advice Mallard

Excuse me. I hate to interrupt, but this is not a mallard.

Ok, you get a view and upvote for the duck... but would someone kindly identify the species?

I would hate to actually GET UP and check a bird identification guide. Although I will if I have to...

I meant it as in, like, "Darth Vader Duck." I have no idea what species this actually is...but google is telling me yes, it's a mallard. So yeah.

If you Google "Tufted Duck" you will find this is a male.

I searched a few sites to verify this species is not a mallard. Not to be a jerk; I enjoyed the identification challenge.

There is another: the American Black and White Duck that is a mallard though. Maybe that's the one you found... but it seems to have a different look. It has the blue bands on it's wings like other mallards.

Anyway, it's all good. I looked it up just for kicks. :-)
