This wasn't a slap at global warming. I was merely making a sideways comment on the fact I'm looking out the window IN THE MIDDLE OF MARCH, and seeing 5" of newly-fallen snow blocking my driveway!!!

We'll get a "trace" of snow. or a "dusting"...even scattered flurries through the middle of the month. But 5" inches? That's when the local meteorologists start reaching for the record books.

Not being nosy, buy, what state are you in?

New York (upstate).
We have frigid temps but lots of green Christmasses. We usually get roughly 100 inches of snow starting the end of Dec. and tapering off by the end of Feb. After that, it's just snow flurries until real Spring temperatures decide to arrive.

I've been to Upstate NY. Buffalo, Middleton...it shows there in the Spring, too.
