Are always talking about it to *us*, I should have said
If you lived in a country that was 70-90% Muslim and you were a Christian, wouldn't you get annoyed with everyone around you talking about Islam all the time? And pushing Islam onto you? And seeing Muslim TV shows and movies and billboards and stuff every minute of every day?
I've been to 47 of the lower 48 states, and I've seen Christian billboards and signs in almost every single one. You know how many atheist billboards I've seen? Exactly three. Two in Columbus OH and one in Springfield MO.

So many memes popped into my mind. I'll just describe them and you can use your imagination.
"talking to *us* about it" --either Willy Wonka or Sigmund Freud with the caption "Freudian Slip, because even atheist know they are not really atheists"
"country that was 70-90% Muslim and you were a Christian"-- image of Isis executing Coptic Christians with the caption "this is what Christians have to worry about in countries that are 70-90% Muslim, not bill boards or TV shows"
"Muslim TV shows and movies and billboards and stuff" "Christian billboards"-- an image of a collage of inappropriate TV shows, commercials, and movies or "non-Christian values" having characters, actors/actresses, and entertainers; billboards of strip-clubs, XXX theaters and stores, etc. with the caption "these things don't move me (like they should) because I don't have to watch them and those on PUBLIC DISPLAY I tune out."
We live in a secular society. America is not a "Christian nation." We would probably disagree about its foundations, but where it is today if far from "Christian friendly." Some secularists even boast about the "rise of the religious nones" do to the growth of the population that identifies as having no religious affiliations.
But hey, OM, we're just here to have fun. Upvote!
But I'm sure you wouldn't let me use that same logic against you, and say that no theist really, truly, deep down believes in god...would you? :)
ISIS isn't in charge of any entire countries, to my knowledge. Countries that are predominantly Islamic are not always exactly Christian-friendly, but they certainly aren't beheading Christians by the hundreds like ISIS is (or would like to).
That's a false analogy (and possibly a red herring), because billboards and signs of an explicitly religious nature aren't the same as billboard and signs promoting adult entertainment. One is trying to push a worldview, the other is trying to peddle a product. My point was that if you saw billboards promoting atheism or Islam or Hinduism everywhere you went, would you not get tired of it after a short while?
It's far more Christian friendly than atheist friendly, I would say. What are the chances of someone belong elected to public office if they announced they were an atheist? Very slim indeed. I can only think of a couple atheist politicians who can claim victory, compared to literally hundreds upon hundreds of Christians (at least those who profess to be so for the sake of their political career). The number of atheists and non-religious people is indeed on the rise, but I'm not so naive as to think that religion will ever die.
You are here to have fun, and so am I. And I did upvote your meme :)
Because we wish we could shut up. Unfortunately, that's not possible because of the radicals in the top House right now.
