other than my one trip to Deutschland, I'm sorry to say that my only other Europe trips were to jolly old England (I had a British girlfriend for a few years). I need to do something about it, I know!
You should. The US have great countryside and nature, but if you want to see what beautiful artefacts (especially wiht regard to buildings) human creativity can provide you have to come to the old world (including Egypt). I will try to find out about conferences in your field next week and text you then.
