Another example of gun control either working or not working (don't know if they have gun control). The common denominator is not gun control, but a low standard of living. There's no jobs, the government is underfunded, I could go on. It's too complicated to blame guns or the lack thereof.

Chicago poverty rate is 14%, for 1.3 million poor.

NYC poverty rate is 21%, with 1.7 million poor. 

Poor are losing homes. 58,000 homeless. Many moving to Allentown PA, etc to find something affordable.

Need I explain what the Bronx was once synonymous with?

NYC is mob central. Why do you think these mean streets are seen in so many movies? MSM made it up?

Working, or are you totally unaware that that's 270 murders out of a population of over 8,500,000 in the safest big city in America - decades ago the most dangerous one on the planet? It's safer than States such as Idaho or Montana. 

Then again, everywhere else is. Per capita, those Western States are the most dangerous places in the US. A small and thinly spread population doesn't rack up the huge 'newsworthy' numbers of propaganda faves like Chicago or Detroit.

Logic dictates that there are more places to get guns than just legally. The fact of the matter is, America has WAY too many guns for gun control to do much. Like I said, I'm not completely in favor for semi-autos laying out like candy either, because the problem is more complicated.

Most heterogeneous place on the planet. All this should add up to the most dangerous of places, AND IT IS. I'm not saying that we fix the issue with more guns. THE ENTIRE POINT OF THIS MEME IS MORE OR LESS GUNS IS NOT THE ANSWER. and seriously? Gun control=murder control? Yeah, fine. Go on. Beleive that the only reason anybody would own a gun is to murder people. What's hunting? What's having fun at a shooting range? What's training for an Olympic sport? I don't know, but they sound like something nobody would do.

New York has a pretty good police department, and if you're going to say that one anomaly completely destroys every argument anybody that's not on the gun grabber's side, then I'll point to Switzerland.

That 'anomaly' started in the 1990s. The 70s, really, but crack was a blip that knocked the trend back some.

I've never seen a cop stop all the murders that almost was. Dafuq you trippin on? 8.5 mill body guards?
