No one needs to worry about the view count. Look at the front page and notice the total views for each meme. They're all very low when in comparison to the total amount of upvotes. The only real problem is the view counter is not adding up the views properly. Memes are still getting the views, just not showing up.

I just got my first 300+ upvoted meme and it shows something like 10,000 views, which if counted properly would have normally been well over 20,000.

The site has a lot more traffic than it used to and if you've been a steady user for over two years or more you will know this. Once they started putting up the ads, the traffic has more than tripled.

It's relative to what you know. This currently has 24 views and 14 upvotes. Before it would've had 3 or 400 views for the same number of upvotes. It's just that you get used to a system and when it suddenly changes as radically as this has you really notice it.
