Hello there! Please tell me (and others) how to reply to a comment with a meme instead of a link. I've searched and can not find the correct information.

I want the meme to show directly in the comment, like yours and many others do.

Tried copy/paste (and editing) the THREE embed codes for the meme without success. Also tried using the Add Meme button which takes me to the generator and does not insert the meme as planned.

It's frustrating not be able to figure it out or get the correct information. Should be easy... but I continue to fail. When searching, I see others are having the same exact issue.

Please help me Obi Wan Kenobi. You are my only hope...

Are you possibly saying "meme" when you mean "template"? The meme is the entire finished product...the template is just the image (either yours or theirs) that you're going to add text to.

You have to click [REPLY] first. Then, you
Click the [ADD MEME] button
Click directly on the template's image, or click the [UPLOAD YOUR OWN IMAGE]
Click [UPLOAD IMAGE FROM YOUR DEVICE] button
Add your text
Click the [GENERATE] button
Proof your work. If all is correct, click on [POST COMMENT]
IMPORTANT: Never click (FLAG) unless you're reporting an offensive meme to the Moderator!!!

At this point I do not have access to the comment page. It just gives the usual meme completion page with Change Settings, Go to Image Page, and Make Another.

I am using a computer, not a phone... not sure if it matters.

Any additional tips would be appreciated. Thank you again!

For what it's worth, I don't own any kind of a cell phone; all my work is done on my laptop.

BTW- I'm afraid to imagine what I'M GOING TO look like if I live to be his age! LOL

I am American too. I deleted the meme and comment out of respect to the old chap. I don't know much about him but I saw he retired last year.

I saw an old clip of him at an opening ceremony where he said, "I declare this thing officially open... whatever it is". This was my only exposure to him, so I like him based on that.

I'd chose him for the Phillip's Head attack meme because he was the only Phillip I recognized in a *brief* search of templates.

But I like your response - it made me think. I choose NO meme response, instead of being disrespectful to him.

OK, that's it. That's everything... nothing to see here. ;-p

I'm sure it's negligible compared to the way Prince Charles ears have been treated in the political cartoons! lol
