Why green exactly? If you really REALLY want freedom and democracy, why not go libertarian?

the US Green Party is Left-Libertarian on the political compass, while the "Liberation" party in the US is Right-Libertarian. I don't trust multinational corporations to do the right thing without laws forcing them to, and I don't think our national infrastructure should be privatized. Among other things.
