Everything - the entire 'show' - is for the sole purpose of stroking The Donald's ego. Everything. It's the sole reason for the existence of the United States of America right now. So let's spend millions of dollars that would be better spent aiding soldiers and their families on moving tanks and planes and missiles from all over the country to the capitol for the sole reason of making some fool only 1/3 of the people in the country can tolerate look good. Cheeto Boy was impressed when French Prez Emmanuel Macron had a big military parade down the Champs Elysees and wamst his own; but Macron was suing it as a big middle finger in The Donald's face, basically saying the French can handle things without him, and the imbecile just wanted the same toy chest. :P
