They were 'diverted' away from that narrative by: First: moving to the narrative of Trump being 'unfit', 'has Alzheimers', 'is not well', etc.; Second: after Trump slyly held that open-to-the-press negotiations on immigration legislation, and clearly shown he was NOT crazy or unfit at all, they quickly went to the latest scam which was started by Dick Durbin claiming the 'shith*les' remarks (and simultaneously, the NYT released a pre-fab totally bogus and unsubstantiated related story) and moved to the timeless 'racism' accusations.... Naturally, their 'Media' played and orchestrated support for the ruse (*It's also very important to note that they have repeatedly accused EVERY sitting Republican President of racism for the last fifty years)

I haven't seen any video or heard any audio of it. So far everything I've seen about it all started with a democrat saying he said it. To be fair, the democrats haven't lied about Trump before so we can probably trust them.

Precisely!..... There is NO audio/video, and seemingly only the claims of that 'prize', Dick Durbin.... The real movement was orchestrated by the corrupt 'Media' -- in other words, there has been more talk and 'reporting' about heresay than any evidence at all.... Durbin is clearly in the camp that has been pressing for 'removal' of Trump, before he even took office -- so he's certainly HEAVILY biased and inclined to fabricate -- especially since there IS no audio/video evidence to dispute his claim....
