Why didn't he just ask his parents?

They probably wouldn't've given him a good reason.

I just think it's funny that all the people who complain about kids were kids themselves at one point. Similar to how everyone who supports abortion has already been born. While I myself am not a parent, my parents have raised me and my siblings well, even taking joy in being our parents. I hope to experience that joy myself one day.

Overpopulation IS a problem.

Thinking of overpopulation as a problem stems from scarcity thinking. The solution is not to decrease the population, but to increase the resources and be more willing to help those in need.

WE DON'T NEED MORE PEOPLE! WE'VE GOT ENOUGH!

How sad to be so lacking in love for humanity. I cannot imagine what experiences may have lead to such a stance, but I will be praying for you my friend.

There's too many people on Earth as it is.
