That was blatantly cut short. What she was about to say was that the old white people that were raised in a prejudice culture need to die (stop camera) out before people will stop being judged on their skin color yada yada or something along those lines.
She's right. I've made that argument against anti-white liberals that think all whites are racist. Once those older generations finally kick the bucket people are going to see that white Americans aren't as racist as they've been labeled. Most of the younger generations look at their parents and grandparents when they're asking for bowl of Brazilian nuts and say "pass the ni**er toes" and think "what the hell was wrong with people back then?" Racism disappears in generational chunks. Our grandchildren are going to look at all of us, even the most politically correct of us, and think the exact same things.
Racism is everywhere. Personally, I think white people are the targets of the most racism in the US. They may not have to deal with the severity that black people do when racism strikes (whites don't get convicted for crimes they didn't commit or get shot by the police just cuz), but they are more commonly and openly discriminated against than any other race in America. Shoot, even white people hate white people now days.
Okay, my parents are in that generation. You are wishing for people to die off because they are older, white and live in the south. Well f**k you because that isn’t true. There will always be racism and it comes from all sides as well. Look at those nazis in Charlottesville for example (no old people there). You want to hurry up and kill off the baby boomers but if something happens to my parents I am blaming you.
Woah, I don't want anybody to die. Maybe go back and reread that. I'm just saying every generation cleans itself up in regards to those things. As generations die out some of the bad habits die with them. Time keeps ticking. Shoot, I live in the south too man! My parents are baby boomers as well and I want them to live healthy lives as long as possible, even if I do have to hear about ni**er toes every time those nuts make it to the snack bowl!
Again, my point was most white people aren't inherently racist. It was just imposed on them by the culture of their times. Currently the culture of our time is extremely anti racist so white people from the more modern generations are also very anti racist. Oprah was getting on about the same thing but from a black persons point of view before the clip was cut short making it seem like she was calling for the death of old white people.
Sure there are isolated groups, like you're saying, that are always going to be racists but they are a very small minority.
Yet well that isn’t what she said. I know what she said. There needs to be racism axed off on both sides. Quite frankly I will be grilled when the Oprahs, Al Sharptons, Jesse Jacksons and Maxine Waters die off. I will piss on their graves for wishing death on people. Racism will always be there whether you think so or not. No generation is going to be perfect.
Okay not you, but there are people seriously rooting for people to die. Michael Shannon said all old white people who voted Trump that it is time for them to die off. He did say that. I am taking names
