That confuses thought with sub-vocalization. It is possible to think in mere concepts without the use of language for some things, but of course language does help for refining certain ideas into clear definitions
Deaf? (Spell check strikes again!) Assuming that you learned to read you would certainly think in that language. If you learned to read more than one language I think you would default to the first.
