lol that's brutal but so true. Hey, been meaning to mention to you that KenJ and I are hosting Geek Week next week. Any promotion and participation would be appreciated.
Geek Week, Jan 7-13, a JBmemegeek & KenJ event. Basically it's anything and everything geek, sci-fi, fantasy, comics, geek life, poking fun at geeks etc.
I did this one but they're holding it going on 8 hours now...if it features, it will probably be NSFW too...that's usually what they do to slow them down... imgflip.com/i/22896p
Yeah...but mostly me...he claims that he doesn't care about points or being on the leaderboard but people that don't care about that stuff, also don't care who is on top either...like you said plain and simple jealousy is all it is.
I only use 7 digits when I call people in Nebraska...if I call out of state it uses the area code, but I never have to dial a 1 before I call anyone...With cell phones, there's no such thing as long distance anymore. Not for me anyway.
Right, so I think that the area code is required for a) outside your own area code or b) in populated areas where there are multiple area codes.
I'm in the second example....in metro Denver you HAVE TO dial the area code even if the number that you're calling to has the same area code that you do.
I agree, haven't had to hit 1 for long distance in forever.
That would suck having to dial all 10 digits whenever the number is not already in your phone...of course in NE, there's only two area codes in the whole state...LOL
For those who don't know what this is referring to, in 1982 there was a One Hit Wonder Top 40 song titled 867-5309, which was supposed the phone number of "Jenny". That was before area codes were routinely needed. You can check out that number and "Jenny" on Wikipedia.

Maybe try your hand at creating something other than jealous rants.
Haha I saw that and wondered the same thing XP
Are you thinking of dialing a 1 before calling a long distance number?
