Is that how we flag our own? I have always wondered because they ask us to do so, but there is no make meme nsfw option... I'm better at throwing a fit because I didn't feel it should be flagged anyway lol!

Well we needed another spongebob lol. I am not sure where these templates reach their popular status. I see ponies used much more often than spongebob. And why the hell be like bill is on there I will never know!

NSFW doesn't equal a flag. Someone else has to flag our memes, sometimes their flag gets our meme marked NSFW. If we tag it NSFW in the first place that keeps it from getting flagged by guys like me who don't check the NSFW button because I don't want to see some of the garbage other people put on the site. I used to have a bad "addiction" to porn and I don't want to see women with large chests in small bathing suits etc, or hear jokes about anal penetration. I guess I'm "weird" like that?

Well the nsfw is red like the flag lol just kiddin ;) I know there are certain words that get you auto flagged or nsfw I guess I should say, some I agree with some I don't. I personally try not to get labeled nsfw because it makes it harder to get views and I need all the help I can get...

However I have wondered how to get it to feature that way when the auto feature doesn't catch it or a mod doesn't see it before it features. So using the nsfw tag will accomplish this? An area that really should be made more clear in the terms I guess. I don't want people who haven't checked the nsfw box to see things they don't wish to. I check the nsfw box so as not to miss something funny based on a word or something. However there are times I regret it so I know where you are coming from. Except for the porn addiction thing, I have been told by many I watch the perfect amount of porn.. so no worries there...

Yeah, I have learned a lot of stuff on here through trial and error. I have tried to make some instructive memes about the stuff I have figured out but the mods won't feature them. It is like they don't want new users to know this stuff. I'm gonna start sharing them anyway.
Yes, use NSFW in your tags when it is applicable and the meme is automatically marked NSFW when it features.

That's cool, guess I won't be using the nsfw tag ironically from now on lol. I'm the same and I was lucky to have Invicta tell me everything on your meme and then some. I used to spend a lot more time helping new users out. Unfortunately all the alts and people deleting then coming back over and over makes it hard to know who is a true new user anymore.

I'll help out anybody asking a question no doubt, I've just been burned too many times to try an suggest things to people. Usually these days people want photo shop tips and I am always happy to share what I know.

I have seen memes like that feature before I am not sure why yours wouldn't. While I don't want to see any type of forum pop up around here, a help page where people could share tips wouldn't suck if the mods don't want to make one...

I figured out how to share clickable links much easier than using the BBC code for the forums method.
I will probably make another meme with instructions on it and share it with people.
If you see a clickable link that you like and would like to share, it is easier to highlight the link up to (click to show) then right click and choose "go to..." or "open in another tab" depending on which browser you are using.
Then open the tab with the meme or gif in it and save to your bookmarks
You can open that bookmark anytime and use that link in the comments and it makes a "clickable link" to put in the meme or the gif.
You can find gifs on the site and make a clickable link using the BBC code method then save the link like I described. I've been doing that all day.

You guys are legends, it takes too long to figure stuff sometimes and you come unstuck with things like NSWF etc... Thanks for taking the time to help users out :-)

How about a series of shared templates that have the tag "IMGLIP Help", or something similar, instead of having to stumble across threads like this?

That meme I linked to earlier did get featured it just took a couple of days. I'll see if I can add the tag "imgflip help" and I'll start using that in memes that explain stuff.
I'm trying to get the wording down for easily posting clickable links to memes and gifs so I can put that in an instructional meme too.

That's great, I ending up getting help from Non_Zero_Sum_Game on a lot of this stuff, but that can be a bit hit and miss, getting hold of people.
