Love the collages. You're seeing u2?!

I haven't been invited to that yet, although U2 is a very good world renowned band.
I was just thinking of seeing Anti-Flag and Fu Manchu.
And thank you very much for your compliment. :)

You're welcome. I don't know those two bands very well but I hope you have a great time if you see them. I used to have a song by Brant Bjork which started with him sipping wine by the pool and turned into an extensive guitar solo. ( it was lumped into a bunch of Bjork songs) ;-)

I'm kind of like you here where I am aware of the artist, but not completely knowledgeable of the music. But I do know that he is a good and accomplished musician. I might have something from him from years ago though. :)
I just hope the shows don't sell out before I have a chance to make arrangements. :)

I had a quick look at both bands and it looked like brant Bjork was in fu Manchu. It really was an excellent guitar solo and the way he set the story up was quite humorous;-). Something about musicians supposedly being lazy bums, but then he comes out with a 15 minute amazing guitar solo. :-). Hope you can make it to your concerts!

Was he in the band or is he still in the band?
And I don't know if I'd say musicians are lazy bums...their art is just made in a different kind of way. Long guitar solos are fun, what do you think about Steve Vai?
And the shows we'll see... :)

I want one of vai's distortiin pedals ;-)

And how many other musicians would you be fighting for that pedal? :)

So now would you like to know what little bit of interaction I've had with them?
And no I have not been a musician for a very, very long time...since childhood.
Although I did spend a couple of decades around musicians. Does that count? I've had my initiation. :)

;-) yes it counts. So what are your favorite toys?

My story about the Foo Fighters...I caught the end of one of their sound checks, and hung out with Dave Grohl and Pat Smear for a while, with brief interaction with Taylor Hawkins. That's about it, but I may have seen them at one or two other performances as well.
My favorite toy would still have to be the guitar. I got my first acoustic guitar when I was seven and was in adult classes by the age of nine. But now the only thing that I might be able to do musically is play the tambourine. Some people say I sing well... others say I don't, so you take your chances there. Is that enough?

Well I'd love to hear you! Glad to hear you are still playing guitar then!

I had to stop playing the guitar when I was nine, because I was in an accident. And over the years a lot of suggestions have been made, but none of them really feasible. :
But like I said I did get to hang around for a long time. So everything kind of makes a circle anyway. :)
But you are very sweet to show interest.

I too enjoy seeing the spectacular things in nature. I especially enjoy watching the sunsets and the colors in the sky as the sun goes down behind the ocean. I've included a picture.
Other things I've enjoyed are electrical shows over the ocean, as well as meteor showers from the beach. :)
Your aquarium is spectacular. I especially like the pirate ship, as well as the decadence of the castle.

Thank you ;) it's one way to bring more peace into one's life. If you zoom in you can really see the phantoms in that one crystal over the castle. The pirate ship was leftover Halloween decor, glad you liked it!
That is the most beautiful sunset photo I have ever seen. I've been to Cally twice. Once I drove from LA to SF, selling handmade poison frog candle holders. Got some jade at jade cove.
I'm in the country on a hill so I get to enjoy a crisp starry sky. Meteor showers are fun too!

It was the middle of winter in the Ozark Mountains. A unusually warm front was just settling in so I hiked out to the woods to make a day of it. Sitting down on a moss covered rocky ledge I dangled my bare feet into the cool stream. As I sat basking in the warm sun, I spied a beautiful leopard frog sitting beside me. For a while we both just sat there, and stared.

In an old apartment I had a window box, and one year I threw some p*t seeds out there. When they sprouted birds came, and before I knew it I had a nest in my window box. And they had lots of little birds there.
I remember one time there were two little birds, one was strong enough to fly, but the other wasn't, so I had to call animal control to get it and put it back in the nest.
