And any explanation they try to give is woefully insufficient or requires levels of luck that you don't need to be a statistics major to know they are practically impossible. Despite all this, I would say that atheism is being spread quite a bit through schools, even if it's not being "shared" the same way Christianity is. While America doesn't have an official state religion, I would contend that atheism is practically a state-endorsed religious opinion.
