Better living being the main part in my opinion, I've had a spinal fusion I know all about chemistry lol. You can't numb your mind in the process of numbing your body, sometimes pain lets you at least know you are alive ;)

I respect most MDs and admired some of the ones with whom I worked. My meme was made with an image of Timothy Leary who was (famously) encouraging people to evade or escape reality instead of dealing with life's contradictions, pain and aggravation. ("Turn on, tune in, drop out.") Sorry to hear about the fusion. Hope you get relief, even if is intermittent.

It is what it is, we all have reasons not to want to get out of bed in the morning. Doesn't matter what they are you either get past it or you don't. The work comp stuff was much worse than anybody should have to deal with. It's one thing to break your neck, it's another to have people literally getting paid to call you a lying pussy that's faking it....

Lack of heart allows this species to cooperate with Human Resources managers who see employees as a resource until they get hurt and become liabilities. Alas.
