Knights and Magic. Only spoiler I've given is the premise. Mecha Otaku is a programming wiz. Gets killed in an accident after buying his latest mecha prize. Is reincarnated into a different world where they have giant robots and that are run by magic. I'm reading the magna online now that I've seen the anime. Not sure if it'll have a second season.

Personal fave is an anime and it's spinoff: A Certain Magical Index and the side story A Certain Scientific Railgun. Watch season 1 of Index first, then season 1 of Railgun, Do the same for season 2.
