How do you save a instagram pic ? Everytime I have tried it says it's not an image.

You have it saved in your gallery?

What I did now was edit this image to flip it into a mirror image, and now it worked, because I had the same issue.

Gosh, Instagram is so convoluted and annoying,,,

It sucks cuz i've found some great pics but the ones i really want to save are all on instagram so i can't save them! Ugh!

Not saved them at all? You need that InstaSave app

I tap the 3 dot thingy, then the menu comes up and I hit Copy Link with gives the link but downloads the pic too. Friggin hassle tho navigating it. Great pics, but aggravating getting around...

Took JMmemegeek's suggestion and screenshot and cropped this off Instagram.

When I can't get an image to upload I just make a screenshot. I also screenshot when I'm not I'm Wi-Fi because it doesn't use any data like a download. Screenshots on my phone seem to save at a similar resolution as a download
