The downvote button is fine the way it is. The whole premise of this option is so the flagging of memes isn't abused.

But , the "Downvote" button is being abused .

This whole "get rid of downvotes" campaign is just another flash in the pan on the site. I've seen so many popular subjects here I've lost count.
