If you wanna see this through, we oughta have it for a month! Down with Downvotes week"end" Dec. 8-10, a campaign by fun memers

How can this whole downvote thing be worth spending so much energy on? Is your entire self worth so completely wrapped up in your imgflip status that you can't just suck it up and move on if someone downvotes you? Not everyone wants to hold your hand and tell you that you're special all the time, that's life.

When your memes are downvoted back to submission that is censorship. Now is that worth fighting?

Personally, I don't think that a meme should be downgraded to submitted status, no matter how many downvotes it gets. With that said, this whole do away with downvotes all together thing is pretty pathetic.
