Down with downvotes!

Getting rid of the downvote and converting it into an upvote. :)

This is like the gun control arguement. Even though downvotes can be used in defense, apparently because some people can't use them responsibly, people are begging for them to be taken away. As we've seen in Chicago, more restrictive laws on guns haven't worked, so why would they work on downvotes here?

I see your point, but I never said completely I want them gone, maybe just some restrictions on the use of them.

I'm sorry, but what should I assume when someone calls their memes "down with the downvotes!"? If I said "down with capitalism!" Do you assume I want restrictions on capitalism?
