I have a neighbor out by me that put his up a few days before Halloween. It's a ton of lighted plastic figurines. I give him a pass for putting them up so early. His wife pasted away a few years ago, and they both enjoyed doing it every year.

it unfortunate to lose someone you deeply care about in your life. that why every second of being together count's as they can be gone tomorrow with photos being the only thing left to remember them by if you can't go think of memories. aside the humor on this site i do think life is something that shouldn't be take for grated. I'm sorry for his lost that definitely hurts deep down for someone like him knowing she gone for good. my condolence for his lost loved one passing.
