Its a cool little town.

I was just looking at Google maps, tracing the route my son will be driving next week. I saw the town's name and clicked on that and this picture popped up.

We've made that trip many times. I used to take I80 across, but I hate driving through Chicago & there are too many toll roads from Chicago through the Indiana & Ohio turnpikes.

Going through Missouri & Kansas is much more mellow. Plus, gas is cheaper than Nebraska & Iowa.

I paid $2.23 a gallon for 87 octane last night.

That's a fact...when I was in high school I worked in the seafood department in a grocery store in the sketchy part of town.

Have you seen the trailers for the movie Downsizing?

The premise is that they've got the technology to shrink people down. It's therefore cheaper to live if you don't need as much stuff. It actualy looks like a good movie.
