Where old memes go to die!

Actually, memegenerator.net is quite important to me, as if it wasn't for that, I wouldn't be here.

(If you don't want to read this, don't, it's quite boring)
Basically, I went on to memegenerator.net on October 11 2016, and my friend saw what I was doing, so he told me to go on to imgflip, as it was, and I quote, "the superior meme site". So, I came here, created an account, started making memes and completely wasted the first seven months I spent here. And now look at me, nearly at 500k. God, what have I done? Lol :D

Exactly, it would be good for finding out about this site ;) I looked at it for the first time last nite and it was just old stuff, no user templates, no creativity, it just made me sad for them. I'm just a loyal imgflipper from the start, every other site I've seen is either filled with trolls or boring. That's my opinion though and I respect yours, best thing about that site for me now is that it helped you become part of our family ;)

Yeah, that's what I realised when I first came here - how free it was. I've looked at a couple of other sites but I'll always be here. As you say, I'm part of the family now :D

imgflip dose have 4 qualities that memegenerator.net doesn't
1. you can use or make more than 2 text boxes
2. you can use more than 1 font (at one time)
3. you can change the text colour
4. you can move the text boxes

Yeah no.2 was added really recently

and the 5th one: you can have more than 1 image in your meme

Really? I found this place and it worked for me. No need to try anything else.

I was searching google images and saw their tag on a meme so I thought I'd take a look, their front page was horrible, it looked like it had been spammed. I didn't make a meme there or anything maybe I missed the point idk...

To add to the rest: I came to imgflip because while I was looking at some memes on Google Images 2 years ago or so I came up with the idea for one, Googled 'free meme generator', and the flip was the choice at the top. Kinda unsexy, huh? :)

I was planning a long time before that about making memes,but I'd always forget.When I actually remembered,IMGFlip came out first.I was a total suckage of a memer back then xD Not that I'm something special now,but I don't suck even close as I did when I started 5 months ago

It comes up first in the google search, no idea why I skipped over it back when I started but I'm glad I did. It looks kinda boring over there, I didn't really check much out though honestly.
