Shuffling and commenting doesn't always gives you points. Votes and comments on memes older than 4 weeks gives no points.

Best way to get points and traction is to comment and interact with others as much as you can. They'll start to take notice of you and check you out.

According to the date you joined, you're not doing too bad with points. I think it took me about three months to get 50K. The points come faster the more you get. Getting the first 100K is the hardest. But making friends is the key.

Yeah points are meaningless yet fun lol. They do help though with visibility and helping you get seen more. The more you get the more you get usually. The only down side is gaining popularity also means gaming haters and trolls who will downvote you.
