I think anyone who would defend either of them is immoral in that area at least. That is a huge compromise on the part of many Christians that I personally know and look up to. It is more of the "political tribal" mentality than doing what is right.
There is a Scripture which says "Love believes all things..." which doesn't mean that love is naive or easily taken advantage of; rather in a doubtful situation love wants to give others the benefit of the doubt.
Roy Moore has not addressed the inconsistencies in his story about the first girl (I think she was the first) who accused him. He told Hannity, "I don't know her," but she produced a high school year book with his signature and a personalized message addressed to her.
Her producing that and him not addressing it makes me feel less doubtful about his story. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt. I still won't ascribe guilt to Moore because that is not my/our place. That can only be ascribed in a court of law, however she has produced evidence that would be suitable for a court of law. I don't really care about the allegations of the other women unless they can produce evidence or corroborating witness testimonies.
