Is that fan art or is there some anime or movie about Bolos that I missed?

I wish there was a movie,instead it is from an old and nearly forgotten sci-fi book series (called BOLO) started by keith laumer, and continued by David Weber. You can go to Baen books and find some.

May have to. I read a couple and then couldn't find it any more.
