Finding Neverland

I looked this up, and OMG, it reminds me of a class exercise I went through in grade school 40 some-odd years ago. It was an exercise to determine your maturity level. The teacher gave us the following scenario:
A drug company finds a cure for cancer that costs only pennies to make, but they charge thousands of dollars per dose. A man, whose wife has cancer, cannot afford the price of the cure. He steals the medicine in order to save his wife. Was the man wrong? All of the students said yes, because it is wrong to steal. I was the only one who said it was wrong for the drug company to charge so much to save someone's life, so I didn't think the man was wrong for stealing, because his wife's life was at stake. Guess who the teacher determined was the immature one? In front of the entire class.

Never stop challenging flawed ethics. I wonder how many of them would let a loved one die if they had salvation within reach, anyone who would is either a fool or a coward.

yeah... You know how we can tell that 'the Cure For Cancer' has not been found...?

RICH PEOPLE STILL DIE FROM CANCER.

2nd reason to call BS... Cancer is not 'one disease' it is uncontrolled cell growth in varied areas of the body caused by various factors (including, but not limited to Life style and environment)

even IF they could find something that helps a Dante's testicular cancer, the same treatment might not work Ethel's Breast Cancer... and something that shows promise for either of them could do nothing for Chad's Colon Cancer and all three 'cures' could be wholly useless for Julio's Lung Cancer

The Real 'cure for cancer' will NOT be heralded as "THE" cure for cancer... it will be quantified as the reversal of the effects, or reduced occurrence of 'Cancer of the _____' among Population X
