Friend got fired because she broke patient confidentiality.
My mom is like 80 years old, doesn't even know how to use the internet, let alone Facebook lol but when I post something "distasteful" she knows about it that day.
I some friends in the health field that send me private messages that could get them fired. I tell them not to because me knowing some silly little thing isn't worth your job. Not that I would show anyone but I don't really trust private messaging that much.
Yeah. I get they want to tell someone. That's when they should just get on reddit and post anonymously... Otherwise, if someone tells me in confidence, I usually end up saying to myself, "I really wish they never told me..."
