By that standard then, a racist would believe the human race to be superior to any other, and wouldn't be a "white supremist" but instead a "human supremist". Besides, if I'd said "human ethnicity" it would not be the vernacular, and also not as funny.

No apology needed, my friend. I think I misunderstood where you were going, which is easy to do especially in texts, etc. technically there is just one "human race" but we do use the term racist to mean someone who believes their own particular skin color to be superior to the others. But really you Canadians are a very cool bunch (not to generalize). ;)
