I love to make current events memes, but it's hard because I know that I'll piss off half the members here AND/OR I don't think that a lot of people are as current on current events as I am, I think I go way over some users heads. Those organizations work to take out religious freedom. Nobody is hurting religious freedom by having prayer organizations in schools or anything like that. Well guess what, their "atheism" was a anti-theistic personal vendatta, it had nothing to do with them being atheists. By contrast, religious bigotry, despotism and human persecution has been a solid cornerstone of human civilization since the dawn of man.

Your argument is absolute trash. Stalin didn't profess to kill in the name of atheism. He killed in the name of politics. The Spanish Inquisition, The Crusades, Islamists and countless other religious power houses, on the other hand, have explicitly stated that their actions have been in the name of God and Faith.

Furthermore, at no point in this discussion did any of us equate you, in person, to these disgusting individuals. You just happen to be a person of faith, which we understand (as opposed to yourself, apperantly) is completely unrelated to the actions of other people who happen to share your faith, but act them out far more brutally.

The core point here, is that modern-day atheists, by far, are simply angry that they cannot be left alone and that many of them have to keep their beliefs hidden in order to not be disowned by their family or worse. Which isn't even comparable to what religious people experience today. For every 1 atheist that you mention, there's easily 1000 religious nutcases who's been making life a living hell and acting as if God is too lazy or stupid to judge the living and the dead himself.

Let's cherry pick all the history that we find offensive and keep all the events that suit our agenda. Here's something the snowflakes can be proud of.
