Sometimes I just want to do a Google search for an image or the news, not even buying anything, and I get a message that I have to turn on my phones location to complete the task. So I turn it on, do my search and shut my location off.
Exactly - Why is my location necessary when I'm googling "directions from Albuquerque, NM to Peoria, IL ??? I need point a to point b....my current position on the globe is irrelevant.
When I turn on my location off after my Google search, the phone flashes me a message that I should have it on in case I lose my phone. I leave if off. It's nobody's business where I'am and what I'm doing.
