Well, they often make arguments using two different definitions for the same word in the same sentence.
Example:
"Republicans think gun ownership is a right but healthcare isn't."
But in that sentence, gun rights does not compel a third party to purchase it for them. I am not aware of any situation where a person is being prevented from getting healthcare if they can purchase it for themselves. And gun ownership still has limits (background check, waiting period, ect.) that do not exist for healthcare. When talking about the "right" to healthcare, they are referring to the "right" to force a third party to pay for it. I am not aware of a third party being forced to purchase a gun to support someone's right to bear arms.
