Actually that IS a problem. Years ago when I tried to cook Minute Rice I was surprised to see how long the box said it takes.
There WERE some complaints to the Federal Trade Commission about false advertising but the FTC decision was that the product had been around for DECADES before "Truth in Advertising" laws and is a well-known brand name and no one buys the product BECAUSE they expect to be able to cook it in one minute.
