If you want musicians whose words are worth listening to,hear me out:
Blind Guardian - From epic novels wrotten by JRR Tolkien to outwordly spiritual topics, this band is packed with beautiful and rich lyrics, and even more beautiful and rich instrumentals. The best band I have even listened to,and let me tell you:I've listened to a lot
Death - The band that created Death Metal. Now,unless you like lyrics about blood, killing, slaughtering and mutilating,I'd advise you to step away from the first two albums and start from "Spiritual Healing".Death's lyrics have been constantly evolving, and they have reached their peak at the album "Symbolic".Listen to anything from the album, and you'll experience pure geniusness.Other songs worth mentioning are "Flesh and the Power It Holds","The Philosopher","Spiritual Healing","Altering the Future","Lack of Comprehension","Story to Tell" and "Moment of Clarity".Death is a beautiful outwordly band, and I'm, sure you'll enjoy listening to them :)
Iron Maiden - One of the greatest names of Heavy Metal, and for a good reason. Both lyrically and musically, they're able to recreate what they write about.Listen to "Powerslave" for example.Instrumentals, vocals and lyrics all represent the darkness of Ancient Egypt in a mind-blowingly amazing way.Same can be said for songs like "Run to the Hills" about the colonialisation among the Indians,"Hallowen be thy Name" about an innocent person that's about to be executed(inquisition),"Alexander the Great" about Alexander the Great(no sh*t),and many many others
Hope you have a good time listening :)
